Latoya made some healthy changes to her breakfast routine with a little help and encouragement from the Yes Health coaches:
“Yes Health has opened my eyes to a healthier way of eating. It emphasizes eating whole foods and making better nutritional choices. When I first started the program, I thought my breakfast of a cheese and vegetable omelet with bacon was healthy. You can’t go wrong with bacon right? But I’ve since learned that a true vegetable omelet has no cheese and to my horror… no bacon. Because of its high fat and sodium content, bacon is more of a treat than part of a daily meal. Now my breakfast on most days is two eggs with vegetables and a piece of whole wheat toast. Bacon and cheese are not welcome to the party. I wake up excited for this meal! :)”
