A happier, healthier you

A happier, healthier you

Welcome to the Yes Health Blog

by Yes Health

If diabetes runs in your family or if you think you might be at risk, Yes Health is here to help. Our goal is to stop the progression of diabetes one person at a time by encouraging people everywhere to adopt healthier eating and exercise habits that last a lifetime. Luckily, with some healthy changes, prediabetes can be reversed.

“People with prediabetes who lost just 7% of their weight, combined with an increased level of activity of at least 150 minutes per week had a 58% lower risk of developing diabetes.”

– The Center for Disease Prevention’s Diabetes Prevention Program.

That’s great news! And it’s the foundation of Yes Health’s success.

What is Yes Health?

Our all-mobile diabetes-prevention app goes wherever you go—so it’s like having your own personal coach, nutritionist and cheerleader in your pocket. Our Yes Health experts work with you one-on-one to create a 16-week customized health plan. Then they keep you on-track with helpful advice and friendly encouragement. Every step of the way.

Help us beat diabetes

We’re partnering with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to help spread the word about diabetes prevention. Right now, in addition to offering a free one-week trial, we’re also donating $10 to the ADA for every person who signs up for our 16-week core program to help support local diabetes-awareness events. The only thing you have to lose is the chance to help beat diabetes—for good. We hope you’ll join us.

P.S. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for lots of great nutrition and exercise tips, plus links to delicious and healthy recipes.

P.P.S.- Lace up your sneakers and tune up your bike! You’re invited to join us in the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes on October 10 and the Tour de Cure Women’s Cycling Series on October 25. Register for one or both events today!
